HVAC has been part of my life since I was a kid. I grew up in the trade, learning from my father and spending weekends and summers on job sites. I started getting hands-on experience when I was nine, and those early years taught me things you don't learn from a manual: take pride in your work, pay attention to the details and do the job properly. I'm BC born and raised, so I've spent my career working with the homes, weather and building conditions we see here. HVAC technology has changed a lot over the years, but those basic principles haven't. When I started Intrinsic Air Systems, I wanted to build a company around the way I believe customers should be treated. If someone is letting us into their home, they deserve honest advice. They deserve to know what we're recommending and why. They shouldn't have to feel pressured into replacing equipment they may not need. We look at the problem, explain what we find and give you our recommendation. If there are different options, we'll explain those too. We also believe good HVAC work starts with good planning. The equipment matters, but so do the ductwork, airflow, ventilation and the way everything works together. Our goal is simple: do good work, stand behind it and leave our customers with a home that is comfortable and a system they can rely on.

We serve homeowners and builders throughout:

We work throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, with the same approach wherever the job takes us. We believe in honesty, integrity, objectivity and competence. Our team is trained in TECA Quality First Forced Air Guidelines and has hands-on experience with residential heating, cooling, ventilation and HVAC system design. If you're looking for an HVAC contractor in Vancouver or the surrounding area, give us a call. Tell us what you're working on, and we'll take it from there.

A lot of HVAC contractors can install a furnace or replace an air conditioner. We think the difference is in how the work is approached.

We take the time to understand the home before recommending a system or repair. We explain what we're doing, answer questions and give you an honest assessment of the options.

Our work is backed by more than 25 years in the trade and a commitment to doing things properly.
